Johns Hopkins Program Development

Dr. Friedman developed, launched and directed successful pain management programs for the world-renowned Johns Hopkins University Hospital System. This included the pain management program for the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department at Johns Hopkins Hospital and the Pain Management for the Spine Program at Johns Hopkins Bayview.

Recognized Teaching Expertise

He has taught physical medicine and rehabilitation and pain management procedures to both medical fellows and residents at Johns Hopkins; launched a weekly board review lecture series for residents to facilitate their board preparation; and earned the Golden Goniometry Award for Best Teacher in 2008: recognition of his teaching excellence in the field of medicine.
